Currently accepting members for two therapy groups: Autistic & AuDHD Burnout Recovery and Chronic Pain & Complex Trauma
Autistic & AuDHD Burnout Recovery Group
A group for trying practical strategies, experiential exercises, and connection, together.
Autistic burnout can be debilitating, and it can look a lot like depression or (C)PTSD. And yet, if we approach it like a lot of depression and trauma therapy does, it can become more severe. Traditional cognitive behavioral approaches like behavioral activation, exposure, and trying to “just change your beliefs” does not meet the burnt out autistic/AuDHD bodymind in the ways we need and it can worsen contributing factors to burnout like masking, camouflaging, increasing demands, sensory overwhelm, and so on. This group will be tailored to approaches that are made for autistic burnout recovery. YOU DO NOT NEED AN AUTISM OR ADHD DIAGNOSIS TO JOIN THIS GROUP.

Each session is $80 and there are a limited number of sliding scale spots reserved for BIPOC and/or low-income folks. There are also some sustaining spots available at $100 for those who can subsidize sliding scale spots. Participants are asked for a commitment to attend and be billed for all 12 sessions and an initial intake session. The group is for NY residents only.

Those whose responses indicate the group may be a good fit for them will be reached out to for free consultations. Those who move past consultations will be scheduled for individual intakes. New cohorts are tentatively being considered to start Fall or Winter 2026, pending interest. Please fill out the interest form at bit.ly/audhdburnout for more information and to move forward with the group.
Complex Trauma & Chronic Pain Therapy Group
An educational, experiential skill-building, and process group.
Studies show that survivors of childhood trauma experience higher levels of chronic pain. For many of us, we know in our bones that these are connected.
To address both, the group will utilize 1) optional out of session psychoeducation about complex trauma healing and its connections to chronic pain, and medical advocacy education, as well as between session practices to deepen healing, 2) experiential exercises from somatic and parts-work therapies, resulting in enhanced skill set for attending to triggers, pain, and nervous system dysregulation, as well as 3) community-building, parts work-oriented processing, and resource sharing amongst participants.
